  1. Entries may be submitted by any South Australian or Northern Territory business involved in any area of Print Production.
  2. All printing category entries must have been wholly printed in South Australia or the Northern Territory, although post-print work may have been undertaken elsewhere. If post-print work was undertaken elsewhere it must be stated on the entry form, including a reason why. Activities undertaken in any business award entries must have occurred in South Australia or the Northern Territory
  3. All entries must have been completed between 1 August 2010 and 31 July 2011. Entries to be original print run only. Reprints and amended reprints are ineligible.
  4. An official entry form must be completed for each entry.
  5. Do not add the exhibitor's name to entries (except where unavoidable - eg. Imprints).
  6. Printing category entries do not need to be mounted, but may be if entrants choose, to protect the work or ensure optimum presentation.
  7. Sets of work or campaigns will be judged to the average standard of items submitted.
  8. A high resolution digital file of all printing category entries is required to be submitted with entries (for promotional purposes).
  9. A high resolution digital file of all printing category winning entries will be required within 1 week of notification after judging is completed (for promotional purposes).
  10. Business category entries should be 750 – 1000 words, excluding any supporting documentation.
  11. Business category entries must be submitted electronically in Word or PDF format, including the company information and signed entry declaration, to sa@printnet.com.au
  12. All entries are to be delivered to the Printing Industries Association of Australia SA.NT Branch Office or submitted by email to sa@printnet.com.au before the close of entry deadline.
  13. The deadline for receipt of entries is 4pm on Wednesday 10 August 2011. Late entries will not be accepted.
  14. A panel of independent expert judges will judge the entries and allocate the awards. The name of individual companies submitting printing category entries will not be known to the judges at the time of judging.
  15. Members of the judging panel for the business category awards may visit the entrant’s workplace to talk to appropriate personnel about the entry.
  16. No award will be made for a category if in the opinion of the judges; the entries in that category do not warrant an award.
  17. The judges’ decision will be final and no discussion will be entered into following the final judging and announcement of awards.
  18. Winners from each category will be announced at the 2011 PICA Awards Presentation Ceremony and Dinner to be held at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre on 4 November 2011.
